I had to steal the pillows from the guys. Well, I actually didn't steal the pillows but did some trading. No recovering needed. Lemon oil and just general clean up and this will go to the shop.
If I can part with it. I've been giving it a test run for sturdiness and comfort. It passed. I'm still loving it as much as I did years ago when I purchased it without cushions. You just don't see many chairs like this.

I have to work indoors due to the bloody WET weather.... how mad is the world at the moment!
i have never seen one of these, not even in a store or antique shop. you said take it to the shop, do you have a shop where you sell things?
Gail,
That is a really nice looking chair. I love the old furniture that is made with REAL wood.
Are you sure you want to bring this chair to the shop?
Stay cool today, catch you later.
I don't think I have ever seen a chair shaped like that- nice to refurbish and re-use!
It is a lovely chair , cleaned up nicely ! John Gray send us your bloody rain Please "smile " . Have a good day !
I don't know how in the world you could part with that chair. It's so unique! I say keep it as a nesting spot for yourself.
We finally got a break in our weather and have had some work done on our front porch. I can't wait until I can use it again (tomorrow).
That chair is fabulous. So unique and it has such strong presence.
Our heat took a brief vacay and we had rainy weather for a week. Cooled off nicely at night.....but the devil called and said hell's on the way back up top, so there ya go.
Really like the chair . . . CHARACTER!
I agree, real wood, character and just solid goodness. Can't find stuff like that any more.
great chair, but I think it needs a flashy, splashy tropical print!
They don't make things the way they used to, do they Gail?...:)JP
What a very lovely chair and looks great with the added cushions. Aah, they do not make furniture like this anymore and you brought it back to life. NICE :)
I like the chair.
