noticing that there is little grass in first photo. Is this what your grassy field has become? However bottom photo, grass looks greener. Is this a case of the grass being greener in the upper pasture and ready for munching. Hope that scorching weather is over soon for you all.

Our neighbor has a calf that will become sandwich filling between two larger cows (no relation) in times of stress.

You know how much I love cow pictures! You should tell that cow in the first picture that we can still see her, even though she's hiding behind the tree!

I love the first picture, Gail. The calf behind the tree seems to be a little shy!
