Many people have been posting old photos from their personal history. I have enjoyed that so much I am going to follow suite. I have no idea how old I am here but not the age I am now. These were those darn paper/finger ringlets Mom always had to put me in. You can also tell I loved to have my picture taken.
I could not get my scanner to work and am not digging out all the cords to see what is connected wrong. These are pictures of me on the top. Marcy, Bev and me on the bottom.
Even in these young pictures, you could tell I wanted to be a boy...

Oh I know about ringlets!!!! Cute cute cute photos.
I was such a tomboy myself. After we moved to a new neighborhood and my best girlfriends at age 7, the only people I had my age to play with were boys. Which was OK, because by that time I didn't really like girls anyway (although I like being a girl). I finally decided that I must have been a boy in my last or several previous incarnations.
I have "naturally curly hair". Isn't that what the little brat on Little House on the Prairie would always say? Nellie Olson?
Cute picture even if you didn't want to be there.
I love the first photo. Wow...they all brought back memories for me. The wash tub and other items in the background. Remember those well. Every little girl would love to have memories of having her Mom or someone spend the time to put ringlets in her hair...I think. It seems we just don't have "Time" like that these days, or am I wrong. Also...I grew up with 4 brothers and no sisters, so need I say more about being a tomboy. They taught me how to sword fight and box like Mohammad Ali....well..those are MY memories anyway. Ha. Enjoyed these memories with you.
Saw that top photo and laughed out loud! Then everyone else in the coffee shop, where I'm sitting, was just dying to know what's so dang funny. The past you is a celeb in Park City! :))
I love the face you´re making in that first picture. You sure weren´t thrilled about being there. What me? Have my picture taken? No way!
What a sour face..love your hair!! That top photo made me smile! I am more comfy in clothing fit for boys too..I always resisted the girly stuff:)
Well just look at your cute little self, Gail. Ya, my mama was set on me lookin' like Shirley Temple so she was always giving me one of those Toni perms. I think they were called Tonitte, with the little girl in mind.
Great post, ya'll have one big blessed day!!!
These are so cute and what fun to look back at your early years. Hope you have a nice weekend.
I love the pictures of the young you. I longed for those ringlet curls, but no one at my house would do them for me.
I didn't realize your sisters were that much older than you. I had 5 older sisters and 2 brothers, I was the youngest, so very spoiled.
Have a great week-end.
That first photo? Priceless! I laughed out loud at that expression! You did NOT look happy to have your photo taken!
