There is beauty everywhere if you take the time to look. Queen Anne's Lace is lovely in bloom but a pest when seeding.
This tiny wild flower has stickers along its stems.
The stocked ponds feed us.
Maria and Luke came to catch their supper.
Tonight they are having fresh Bass and Crappie.
Lil enjoys the outing
with her ever present stick.
The youngest grandson got his first barefoot mud sample.
Can you guess who caused this?
Then we went to the creek and washed our feet.
Today was a good day At The Farm.

Ahhh the joys of barefeet and mud!!
Gail, I like your photos today. Especially of your little grandson walking in the mud. Your sky picture is beautiful, too. At our farm, we can get out in the middle of the pasture and see all around. East Texas is like Arkansas - SO many wonderful trees, but it IS hard to see the sky. Glad we both have a place to see it from!
I think Grandma made him walk in the mud for the experience. You've got to try everything at least once, right? Next time, a little more mud. Sludgier. Make his parents real happy. Beautiful pictures. The sky looks great.
Nice post. Reminds me, did you ever catch the fish poacher?
Farm life sounds fabulous!
I have always loved your posts on Sunday At the Farm. Summer and barefoot and being little again, just for a day!
