What Do You Do...

When you are supposed to be doing nothing?  I go crazy blogging and make three posts in one day and drive people insane with my questions.

I attempt to paint and even that looks dark, like my attitude, so not a good day to paint.  Television does not interest me, I have read some, napped some.  Sneaked into the kitchen and washed dishes.  Now this is someone who has to have a gun to my head to wash dishes and I am sneaking around to do them.

I want out, my water garden needs dipping and picking and pulling.  I can see it and the pecans blooms are like a carpet.  I want to pull moss from the spring pond which is crystal clear today.  I want to go brush horses.

But first and foremost, I want to get well so as bad as being in is, it is not as bad as checking out.

Thanks for putting up with me.

Awww Gail, I'm so sorry to see you've been ill. I know how hard that is to lay around when you see thing that need done, and you're tired of laying around, BUT it sounds like in your case it's imperative that you rest. *hugs* to you, and I hope you are feeling better very, very soon!!!

I'm so sorry that you are under the weather, I really do understand...been there, done that and still doing it to some extent.
I hope it won't be long before you're back to doing all the things you enjoy.

Hey! I'm sorry you're sick! What's wrong? Cholesterol? I went back a few posts to try to figure it out but still not sure. Kurt has had cholesterol problems. He had to get double bypass surgery a couple of years ago and just last week the doc said his numbers got worse. It's hard food-wise. I am sure my chlesterol is high too but we don't have any health insurance on me so I don't go to the doctor. So what's happening girl?

I hear you. I get frustrated when I'm sick because no one blogs enough! LOL

I hope you're doing better. Did you have to go back to handsome Doctor?

I think it might be good to paint... even if it's a little "dark" as you say~ a great way to express how you're feeling! You could go all abstract & just fling paint at a large canvas!
did you do handprint/footprint today? it's cool.

I tried to go back and find out what is wrong with you too. Your cholesterol is high is all I got. Maybe that is enough, huh? I am so sorry you are sick and I hope you will rest and not worry about the work that needs to be done. Do you have Free Cell on your computer. Great time killer. Please follow the doc's orders and don't monkey around. Write to me. I'll answer.

Sorry you're sick but at least it seems that you are occupying your time wisely... I have 'man-flu' and have done nothing but watch TV and complain!!

I don't do well with my wings clipped either.
Movies are the best things to keep me still as I found out when I was hugging the couch for a month earlier this year. Blogging always helps too!!

My husband has high cholesterol and cannot take the medicine either. It's a hard battle. I wish I could say it will be easy. The best thing for us is to get creative with herbs to add flavor to otherwise bland foods.

Feel better soon!

Gail do you have to stay inside and be in bed or on the couch per Dr. orders. Seems to me that a walk with the dogs or a sit in the sun would be good both mentally and physically. Better than being totally frustrated stuck in the house when outside is where you want to be. Just take it easy. Can't think of any better therapy than gently brushing a horse in the warm spring sun :) I had a terrible case of bronchitis a few years back and after finally getting some meds I spent some time reading outside in a hammock. I know the meds helped alot but being outside with fresh air and sunshine did so much for my soul! I know it's hard for you to not work at something that needs to be done :)

I hope you're feeling better soon. If our weather was as pretty as yours I'd sprawl onto a lounge chair outside or swing on a hammock. Being outside is a lift for the soul and spirit.

(((HUGS)))

and that artwork of feet and hands is amazing.

Hope you're back to par very soon. What I want to know is - did you have your hands and feet on the canvas at the same time? Inquiring minds want to know! Very neat painting!
