It is a farm,
even though I rattle about other things...a lot.
We do have cattle and we are in calving time.
The babies are a beauty to behold.
Yellow cow is my favorite.
These are huge cattle but gentle.
The boys are tax money or steaks,
the girls increase the herd.
Our big man, Collateral, watches over all.
And the best part of all,
the grass is beginning to green.
A mild winter, a productive herd, and green grass,
all things a farmer likes to talk about.

God has indeed been merciful this winter! Have a good weekend my friend.
Love those cow faces. Aren't they sweet? :)
Those are some beautiful cows! We don't have a cow/calf operation but we do feeder calves and I can't wait until we get them every year.

Gail, Good morning to you girl! Wow, mighty fine head of cattle you have there. They are gorgeous. If find cows to be so relaxing for me, like horses. I could just sit and watch them all day.

Calves are so cute. I remember when I was young that I could watch the animals for hours. We raised herferds. Have a good day.
You have great cows and a great bull. I know I had read about them before but I guess it never clicked. I am looking forward to some more posts about that.
In my earlier life I raised show cattle and we had a bunch of cows too. I like cows about as much as chickens. :)
I do like your cows and your great old bull. The calves are wonderful. I'm glad to hear that the grass is turning green again. We had a mild winter ourselves. The cows here, which are dairy cows, go to the stable in wintertime. They are part of the Dutch landscape, black and white cows in the green meadows. Have a good weekend. xox
Hah. Great name for your bull!
So the new female was a good thing.
Double congratulations, then!
