Apparently, some have more than one insect in each photo. I came home today to a carpenters bee nest on my front porch-uncomfortably close to my swing.
About ten years ago, the grasshoppers were so bad here that they ate everything! They literally stripped my bird of paradise, thankfully it came back, I made nets and threw over them to keep the buggers off. The only thing they wouldn't eat was lantana and monkey grass!
Gah! Bugs are icky. lol! Luckily we've not had any serious bug infestations around here. Some flies in our orchard and in the chicken coop (from all the peach pits we throw in there), but oddly enough not too many ants in the house this year (probably because they are too busy eating the windfall peaches on the ground. lol!)
Great photos. They kind of bugged me, though. hehehe!
